Visint's Bi-directional Small Form Factor Pluggable (BIDI SFP) transceiver is compatible with the Small Form Factor Pluggable Multi-Sourcing Agreement (MSA), also simultaneously compatible with Gigabit Ethernet as specified in IEEE Std 802.3. The transceiver is designed for operation in Metro Access Rings and Point-to-Point networks.
